Other than the weight, the color is awesome, it’s easy to use, seems more like a tablet than an e-reader, plays music, allows picture uploads for viewing pictures, has a slot for an sd card and so you can insert whatever you can download onto an sd card to read on your Novel. You can change the background (wall paper) and edit your settings for display quite easily. All in all for the price paid this gets 5 stars from me. The only negative thing I can possibly write is about the weight of the reader…but you do get accustomed to that.”

Next I looked at a Pandigital case at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was black and had most of the right holes but didn’t have one where the power button is so I would have to slide the ereader out of the case to turn it on and off. It also did not have a magnetic closure to keep the cover shut,” and another reviewer said, “This case is great if you have the correct model for it, the Novel 2GB. It is a perfect fit and has holes in the right places for all the buttons. The leather is good quality and the inside has soft grey leather. The magnet (how do those work?) keeps it closed as well. The only thing I wish it had was a strap on top to make sure the e-reader stays in if it is upside down. But, it is a snug enough fit where it is not a huge concern. Well worth the $20 if you want to protect your investment.”
